How to apply
Clean it, mist it on, let it cure.
Prepare the surface
- Vacuum and clean the fabric so it is free of dust, loose fibres and cleaning residues. Steam cleaning is ideal but not essential.
- Machine-washable items: rinse once more in plain water to remove detergent, then dry completely.
- Work in a dust-free, well-ventilated area, out of rain.

Apply it
- 1Prepare the working solution as directed with your order.
- 2Spray from about 15 cm until the fabric is evenly damp, not saturated.
- 3On seating and pile, work it in with a soft brush so every fibre is covered. On leather, rub in with a soft cloth.
- 4On carpet, apply a second wet-on-wet coat, brushing between coats.
- 5Touch dry in about 2 hours; ready for use after 6 hours.
- 6Full performance after 12–24 hours. Keep dry and untouched while it cures.

About using Anti Microbial Fabric Surfaces.
How does Anti Microbial work?
Anti Microbial works by providing a killing field of billions of nano swords that both puncture and electrocute bacteria and germs making them ineffective and incapable of infecting a host. The nano swords are linked together and bonded to the surface at a molecular level, giving it long-lasting effectiveness and durability.
How is Anti Microbial applied?
Application may differ depending on the material involved. In all cases, please ensure that the surface is clean and dry. If possible (not essential) fabric should be steam cleaned, but as a minimum should, be thoroughly vacuumed before applying. Spray evenly over the entire surface from a distance of about 30cm until it looks slightly damp. For leather and vinyl, please then wipe with a cloth to ensure a good even coverage.
For carpets only, gently rub the coating into the fibres using a brush or squeegee. Then after 5 minutes apply a second coating.

How long does it take for the coating to set?
Anti Microbial for Fabric materials requires 6 hours drying and curing time during which time the surface should remain completely dry and untouched. In cool and high humid environments the coating may take a little longer to dry.
Will Nanoman harm my surfaces?
Definitely not. In fact, Nanoman products create a protective barrier. This barrier is only 150-300 nanometres thick, which is invisible to the human eye. It will not alter the look or feel of any surface.
How long will this coating last?
Anti Microbial, which can be applied to any textile or fabric surface, will provide continuous 24/7 protection for at least 365 days. It will not simply disappear after this, however we do recommend re-applying the coating every 12 months to ensure maximum protection.
Is the coating biologically safe?
Anti Microbial is not a toxic killer like disinfectant or other chemicals. It does not contain any halogens, heavy metals or nano silver particles. Once the coated surface has dried it is completely non- toxic.
In liquid form, it is toxic to aquatic life and should not be disposed of into waterways or sewage outlets. Do not ingest and keep out of reach of children. Gloves should be worn when applying. Please dispose of plastic containers responsibly.
Does temperature affect Anti Microbial?
Anti Microbial is stable at varying temperatures but is best applied at temperatures above 4°C. Nanoman coatings should be stored in a sealed container, away from light, ideally within the temperature range +5 to +25°C. The coating has a shelf life of 2 years under these storage conditions.
Can Anti Microbial be used on any fabric surface?
Yes, this coating can be applied to all fabric and textile surfaces including, but not limited to, natural and synthetic fibres, leather, bedding (including mattresses, covers, sheets, pillow cases and blankets), rugs, upholstery, furniture, curtains and drapes, towels, clothing, sports apparel, socks, car seats and public seating.
Can I wash items coated with Anti Microbial?
Yes, clothing and other articles that have been coated with Anti Microbial can withstand up to 10 repeated washes.
Can I apply Nanoman products on surfaces that have been sealed with other products?
No, Anti Microbial Fabric cannot be applied to fabrics that have already been coated with a waterproofing or other surface coating.
How do I clean surfaces treated with Anti Microbial?
For Anti Microbial to be most effective, normal cleaning should be maintained. Cleaning wipes away dead microbes and other contaminants that can cover the “killing field” of nano swords, diminishing its ability to destroy germs that are deposited on the treated surface.
