How to apply
Clean it, disinfect it, wipe it on once.
Prepare the surface
- Clean thoroughly with a detergent to remove grease, dirt and residues.
- Disinfect with isopropyl alcohol (over 70%) or a commercial disinfectant, and let the surface dry untouched.
- Apply at 5–35 °C and below 90% relative humidity, out of rain and wind.

- 1Prepare the working solution as directed with your order.
- 2Spray onto the surface, or onto a cloth or paper towel.
- 3Wipe in thoroughly for total, even coverage. Avoid excess; spread any surplus while wet.
- 4Apply a single coat only.
- 5Leave dry and untouched for 60 minutes.
- 6Full effect after 6 hours. Keep dry during this time if possible.

About using Anti Microbial Hard Surfaces.
How does Anti Microbial work?
Anti Microbial works by providing a “killing field” of billions of nano swords that both puncture and electrocute bacteria and germs making them ineffective and incapable of infecting a host. The nano swords are linked together and bonded to the surface at a molecular level, giving it long-lasting effectiveness and durability.
How is Anti Microbial applied?
The first step in the process is to give the surface to be protected a thorough detergent clean followed by a disinfectant clean. Nanoman Pre-Cleaner having greater than 70% alcohol content is an ideal disinfectant however any commercial grade household disinfectant will be suitable. After allowing the disinfection to work apply Anti Microbial to the clean surface by spraying on and rubbing in thoroughly with a paper towel. If applying commercially or to very large areas we recommend using an Electrostatic Sprayer for both disinfecting and application. Please contact us for further details about this.
How long does it take for the coating to set?
Anti Microbial requires at least 10 minutes to dry during which time the surface should remain completely dry and untouched. It requires a further 6 hours curing time for it molecularly bond with surface and become fully functional. We recommend the surface remain untouched during this curing phase.
Will Nanoman harm my surfaces?
Definitely not. In fact, Nanoman products create a protective barrier.. This barrier is only 150-300 nanometres thick, which is invisible to the human eye. Nanoman is UV resistant and has a high resistance to scratches and abrasions. It will not alter the look or feel of any surface.
How long will this coating last?
Anti Microbial can be applied to any hard surface and will provide continuous 24/7 protection for at least 365 days. It will not simply disappear after this, however we do recommend re- applying the coating every 12 months to ensure maximum protection.
Is the coating biologically safe?
Anti Microbial is not a toxic killer unlike traditional disinfectants. It does not contain any halogens, heavy metals or nano silver particles.
In liquid form, it is toxic to aquatic life and should not be disposed of into waterways or sewage outlets. Do not ingest and keep out of reach of children. Gloves should be worn when applying. Please dispose of plastic containers responsibly.
Does temperature affect Anti Microbial?
Anti Microbial is stable at varying temperatures but is best applied at temperatures above 4°C. Nanoman coatings should be stored in a sealed container, away from light, ideally within the temperature range +5 to +25°C. The coating has a shelf life of 2 years under these storage conditions..
Can Anti Microbial be used on any hard surface?
Yes, this coating can be applied to all hard surfaces including, but not limited to, metal, all type of steel, timber,glass, porcelain, ceramics, plastic, stone, composites, and tiles etc. It will not harm soft surfaces like rubber or fabric if there is any overspray.
Can I apply Nanoman products on surfaces that have been sealed with other products?
Yes, but the surfaces should be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly using standard detergents and disinfectants. Nanoman Pre-Cleaner is also an effective disinfectant as it contains >70% isopropyl alcohol. The surface can then be coated with Anti Microbial as per normal.
How do I clean surfaces treated with Anti Microbial?
For Anti Microbial to be most effective, normal cleaning should be maintained. Cleaning wipes away dead microbes and other contaminants that can cover the “killing field” of nano swords, diminishing its ability to destroy microbes that are deposited on the treated surface.
